Job Description

• Ability to understand high-performance code and the skill and passion to create high-quality solutions yourself
• Learn customer network deployment design and quickly iterate to what the real problems in a network
• Identify, design, and develop solutions that enable customer success and improve the quality, usability, and stability of Sandvine’s product suite
• Root cause system-level issues comprehensively and ensure success for Sandvine’s customers
• Work successfully with diverse teams across the organization and with external teams at the customer organization and partner organizations
• Innovate by designing tools to increase automation efforts and help improve product stability, debugging ability, and live network investigation methodology

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Masters (or equivalent) degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Some experience in Software development using C/C++
• Familiarity with debugging tools like GDB, Valgrind, or Profiler
• Familiarity with build tools – Maven, Jenkins
• Familiarity with version control – Clearcase/git
• Knowledge of Telecom Network and associated technology is preferred (PCRF, Diameter, REST, JSON, GTP-C)
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Ethernet, IP routing, networking protocols, SNMP) is a plus
• Experience in deploying high-performance products in virtualization (KVM/EXSI) or Cloud (OpenStack) environments is a plus
• Familiarity with scripting in bash/python
• Out-of-the-box thinking, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with remote teams
• A self-motivated learner who can adapt quickly to change
